Plan your installation

Measure the space above the console and note where shelves, a soundbar and nearby doors sit. A new TV with the same diagonal can have a different outline, connector position or mounting-hole pattern. Test the intended screen center before using the old TV’s position as a guide.

Find the bracket model and its installation hardware. The installer needs to assess compatibility with the new TV and the actual wall; a wall plate already in place is not proof that it can carry a replacement. If the old unit is coming down during the new installation, add that work to the request. Disposal is not included in the current removal option.
